Naim S400 / Info

Hi there,

i just auditioned Naim S400 supplied by complete Naim chain.

Not bad, but not my taste ...

The speakers were lacking authority and precision.

Tonal they are comparable to the 600 series.

I also got the information they will offer aktiv x overs for the ovator series

I've read a lot of mixed reviews about the Naim Ovators.

A few people have said that the bass is slightly detached from the mid range and treble and that the BMR drive unit has a slightly hard sound to it. Naims NACA5 probably doesn't help :|
