ITEM DESCRIPTION:
The original unit was made during the first year of production in 2002/2003, serial number 766520. All the audio circuitry and audio connectors have recently be upgraded through the new Linn 2009 Specification Klimax Kontrol upgrade, serial number 1185131.
The new audio circuit board is covered by Linn's 5-year extended worldwide warranty and can be easily transferred to the new owner no matter where in the world they live - I have checked this with Linn themselves. It will provide the new owner with warranty cover until May 2014 for the audio circuit and built-in connectors. The original audio board is not included in the sale and has been sold separately.
The item comes with heavy duty Linn Klimax Kontrol box ideal for safe shipping. Original Linn remote control device also included. The only items NOT included is the original manual (available as a download from Linn website) and Linn Silver interconnects.
The reason for sale is to finance new LP12 upgrades. I would love to keep it but cannot afford both.
CONDITION:
The item is in superb condition with no chips, dents, scratches or marks of any kind anywhere on the aluminum case or glass screen. There is no damage to the unit of any kind. The item is in full working order and sounds stunning.
SHIPPING:
The ideal situation would be to collect in person and thereby check the item yourself, but I understand this is not always possible. However, postage and packing within Europe is included within the price should you prefer it be shipping to you. The item will be fully insured during shipping.
