Akurate DSM mc versus Linto?

I'm hesitating. Upgrade from ADS/0 to ADS or ADSM both latest spec.

I have Linto. Would I gain anything by using the mc-ouput from ADSM instead?

Nope. The Linto is more musical than MC phono stages built into the Linn preamps and streamer/preamps.

I can verify this, made the change from ADSM internal to Linto a few years ago. The Linto is clearly better.
If you want a big step up, go for a Lejonklou Entity or the Linn Urika 1 (if you have a Radikal). The Urika 1 is miles ahead of the Linto...

To answer your specific question, the Linto is much better than the on board MC stage. Did this dem with friends back to back. No contest.


You have a Linto so you can do the dem and evaluate for yourself.

I chose the ADS upgrade. Better and 1500euro less. I will continue with my old style casing :)
