Hi I'm definately in the market for a Linn 5125 preferably dynamiked . Anyone know of one for sale?

Yes really keen on a dynamik version. Also wondering if I can get away with using 5125 for two aktive channels and retaing a LK140 for the other. Probably put the treble and a bass card in 5125 and leave an LK140 to drive the other bass.
Anyway thanks aging. Its not easy being miles away purchasing Linn gear

I was going to say, "Yes, you can - but the use of 2 x 5125 would be a much preferred route". However, having re-read your question I'm not so sure about what you are hoping to achieve. What 'speakers are you using? Do you require 4 or 6 channels (or more i.e. are the 'speakers 2-way, 3-way or more)?

If you are using all 5 channels of the 5125 then the "D" version is worth having. The "non-D 5125" is no slouch though and, if not using all 5 channels (or not using 4 channels to drive bass units) then I find little or no difference between the "D" and "non-D" versions. Personally I much prefer 2 x "non-D" 5125s over 1 x Majik 6100 for running 6 channels. I find the same for LK140s - I much prefer 2 x 5125 (non-D) over 3 x LK140.

Do you have mono bass cards?
