Hi Maggio, no I’ve never owned a pair but I’ve heard 350’s many times now and each time has been dire. The factory visit was hopefully going to be a chance to hear them perefectly set up and tuned. Sadly, it was not to be. Fortunately I was not on my own so at least I know it’s not me.

For the money they cost, you could have a KLP12, KDSM, Tundra Twin and Kudos Titans. And that’s a hell of a system and still have change for many new albums.

Well this is disappointing, I'm putting together my first hifi and could do with some input on cables - see my first post on the cable lengths thread.

- BT Homehub 5, Netgear GS105, [placeholder].

Not really the threadtopic. But since I am on the lookout for new speakers (been for quite a while since my wife finder my resent to big and not enough beautiful...)
I have alot of speakers to try, one is the newish Kudos Titan 808, others I would consider, Linn 350, Akubarik. The Gryphon Pantheon, maybe even Paradigm Persona 7f and 9h. My wife like Akubarik, since they are small

I haven't had possibility to hear the Kudos or Paradigm so they could be great or awful... Have you heard them? How are the compaird to Linn Akubarik or what would be your best Linnspeaker to compare them with?

When it comes to cables I use split K400 to my speakers. I have tested some others but even with Klimax source, it's a bit rich to get something like Naim super Lumina or more expensive. When considering I might need 2-4 more pairs later, if I were to activate a speaker later.

I know most consider Linn Silver better than Mogami for the tonearm of Linn LP12. But if you need a budget cable RCA or xlr that are long it's a good cable for its price. I've the same type my Linn retailer used for 350a before Exakt. Got en from a shop/firm that sell to studio/stage/ more PA than high fi. Got a pair of maybe 16-20m don't remember. But they would have cost much more from my local Linn. Wouldn't surprise me if my Linnstore got em from where I got my from though, so would explain the price difference.

I think most current Linn speakers 'below' the 350s sound great with a good Linn source and Lejonklou amps, especially single wired with K400s and Linn interconnects.

Akkubarik and Akudorik look and sound really good, but I prefer the old 242s to both, and your wife would likely find them all cosmetically acceptable.

On the forum, Klangedang T1s get really good reviews with Linn/ Lejonklou kit, as do the discontinued JBL 3677 - but the wife may not be so keen on the appearance.

Good Luck and enjoy.

I must say that I would none of these speakers favour over my JBL3677s. They fit very well in the minimalist interior of a large living room. And my wife likes them too even more when they start playing music.......
