P-Clip touching trampolin

Post by Mikeg »

I have just installed a new trampolin 2 and noticed how close the p-clip (new type) is to the baseboard. If it is touching what impact is that likely to have on SQ?

If there is a problem the only thing I cam think of doing is moving the motor earth from the rear bolt to the the front one. Is that viable?

Thanks for your help

As long as they are not touching each other when you play a heavy record I think you are ok. If they touch I would take it to an experienced LP12 dealer for service.
It’s that live feeling…………….

If I understand your question correctly, Mikeg, then beck must have misunderstood it.

The P-clip holding the arm cable should not touch the baseboard. Indeed it's much bigger than the old ones, but I've never had any of them touching the baseboard. If so, I would expect there's too many nuts or washers above it (should be one big washer and one nut, then the P-clip.

Motor earth? What is that and where does it fit?

Maybe I have misunderstood you after all. Posting a picture will help!
