Title taken from The Beatles last track on Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band.
I start at 06.30 where I get up to help the kids with breakfirst and send them to school. Then I do my shopping for the day in the nearby supermarket and finally when I get home around 09.00 I sit down and turn on my hifi.
I am in the fortunate situation that I start at work in the afternoon so I have a couple of hours each morning all to myself to listen to music and other stuff.
My only concern is that I am wearing down my Klyde. I simply enjoy my music collection so much. Each time I stand in front of my records it is like being in a candy store grabbing for the next sweet thing to hit my mouth. I grab one record after another and listen with a smile from ear to ear.
Then at the latest possible moment I find my gear and run out the door to catch the bus to work.
I come home around 8 in the evening, kiss my wife hallo and have a cup of coffee talking about the day. At midnight I go to bed.
Next day I get up and................ What a blessed life! :-)

Re: A Day in The Life
We'll all be out of here soon enough. The entire population of this planet will be dead in 150 years. Make the most of it. Glad you're able to enjoy your Klyde so often.
Re: A Day in The Life
I will for certain be dead long before it happens but what have you been reading lately to back up your statement. I do believe you but what started as a happy tread is now at risk of turning bad! ;-)

I was going to joke that it's just my normal disposition but in truth there's a lot of people I know at the moment with the big C including a mother of 3 that passed away, not even 40. There's a subconscious assumption we'll all make it to retirement but fact is no one has any guarantee. I'd burn through as many Klyde's as you like :) Sorry to spoil your topic. Let's get back to normal!
Re: A Day in The Life
Life can be cruel sometimes. It can hit us all hard at times and I am sad to hear it.
If I made my last breath during a listening session I would die happy! I would then hope someone would take care and pick up the Klyde from the record before it wore out! :-)
