I’m finally getting to grips with parting from my beloved CD12, as I am in the process of transferring my CD collection to a network DS solution. The player is in immaculate perfect working condition, still with all original accessories and protection case intact.
Serial number is 130 and the unit originates from 1998, with the original beautiful individually textured hard anodized aluminum finish and the silver anniversary badge on the underside. The audio board has been exchanged to latest spec, including upgrade to the 24 bit Burr Brown 1704 DACs and revised SW.
The only visible defect is a small mark on the side of the original 5101 paddle remote, so I will throw in a REM019 as compensation.
I would like to sell this to someone caring for it as much as I have done throughout all these years and will consider serious offers around €5000 plus shipping. Located in Stockholm, Sweden.
