I heard Simple Audios streamer briefly this afternoon and unfortunately I cant say anything conclusive at the minute.
To be fair the dealer hadnt quite got things organized(I turned up minutes after they emailed to say it was now in stock) so it was playing his itunes library(compressed) driving a pair of B&W floorstanders with its built in amp £599..£499 with no amp
The dealers initial reaction was that is beefier sounding than the sneaky and suspects it could be better or similar too early to say at present.
There were moments on certain tracks that the emotion in a singers voice was very close to connecting with me but not quite.
The design reminded me of the apple tv and the sound of the unit could be described as kan 2 not quite set up properly.
With flac and studio files I suspect we could have a kan2 feel product.
I'll be booking myself in proper this week to do a tune dem comparison with the sneaky..
and it's made in Scotland ..which is nice..!!

Very true!Which turned out to be a pain in the neck when it came to me comparing it with the sneaky yesterday ..rowlandhills wrote:I just wish it could be controlled properly over UPnP so I could integrate it with my Linn players. Unfortunately it needs it's own control point software. :(
I only compared it with one Todd Rundgren track and the Sneaky was miles ahead ..no contest.
I could have listened to a track on the Simple Audio one day and gone back the following week and listened to different track on the sneaky and still tell the sneaky was way ahead..
It wasnt even close
I know that tune
