This belongs to a friend of mine from India and because exporting from India is so difficult he left it with me (I’m in the US) so that I could sell it for him. He bought it from an asian dealer and hence it has a British plug.

He has upgraded to the super kikkin and hence it’s for sale. I can test it with a voltage converter here for you although I did try it already.

It has the grey Lejonklou box, No remote and no transport packaging but I can package it safely for you if interested.

Hi,

Zee is helping me out with this as it's easier to ship out from the US to Europe/UK.

This Kikkin was purchased about 14-16 months ago from Singapore and I have since upgraded to a Super Kikkin. Hence the sale.

India/Singapore has the same voltage as the EU/UK so there is no issue with the Kikkin working there.

The Kikkin is in perfect working order.

The remote sold by Lejonklou will surely work.

From the Kikkin manual:

"The Kikkin can be controlled by any remote control (not supplied) that follows the Phillips RC5 standard. You can choose to let your Kikkin also accept RC5 commands for TV sets"

Yes, my current remote works with Kikkin.

And lots of other remotes can also control it.

From the last quote I got to Norway it was about $85-95 for shipping with a standard ($200) included amount of insurance. I’m assuming the UK should be in that range. I do have a friend who travels to the UK occasionally and can check with him if he will carry it and post it locally but that might only work if you are not bound by an immediate need for the kikkin 2.
