Re: Streaming service
Even if you have Spotify Connect set to the highest quality, I am not sure that you will get the best available quality on a Linn streamer, as the maximum audio quality in the configuration (at least in the latest version for the Klimax DS) lists as maximum: high (320 kbit/s). The display shows CD q...

I am looking for a Linn Majik 112 Centre Channel Speaker in white. First checking here, then ordering a new one, if there is none available.

Re: ChrBea's system
You have a beautiful system. What kind of racks are those? Are you still using the 242's? Did the noise go away? Are you happy with them? Thanks. Both racks are Quadraspire. SVT for the vinyl side. Q4 EVO for the Streamer/Pre-Amp/Amp side. I am still using the 242's and the hissing is no longer not...

Re: ADS/0 service, Sweden?
I think you should simply call your local dealer (http://www.tonlaget.com/). If they can't service the ADS themselves they will ship it for you. That is at least how it used to be with all Linn dealers

Re: Sagatun and Sagatun Mono
Until now I always had just one source, so it was obvious how to connect this to the Sagatun Mono, but as I have ordered very recently an LP12, I am interested/curious in how you have connected your sources to the Sagatuns. Most musical source goes to the "direct inputs", second most musical to some...

I bought my M140 from them and can confirm that they have a great service and excellent prices.
Wanted to buy 242's there too, but they didn't have the colour I wanted back then.

Re: ChrBea's system
As the 3677 had a WAF of close to 0, I got some nice high gloss white Akurate 242 with black arrays instead. They were bought at a Linn dealer, and according to them they work perfectly. In my system though, I can clearly hear white noise/hissing when I turn up the volume over 50. Even with a test t...

I'm interested too in how walnut ranks among the other plinths. I asked Chris about an alternative in the same colour range, but have no answer yet.
SWMBO prefers not to mix too many different woods in the living room. Black ash would be acceptable, but I do not like the look of it :)

Re: ChrBea's system
Do not get rid of the preamp! A system with a preamp always sounds more musical to my ears. There may be other persons on this forum more qualified to explain why this is the case, but all I can say is, keep the preamp in the chain
Re: DS killer
quick search on ECM label gives me 1000+ albums. Just tried "Last Dance" by Keith Jarrett & Charlie Haden and it streamed in 24bits 96kHz. No need to buy anything with Sublime+ subscription. As for the standard of all their ECM records, I can't tell you for sure what they have. But their support usu...

Re: ChrBea's system
The Sagatun-Tundra combination really lets you enjoy the music. The biggest change for me is the fact, that now after changing the preamps, it is the first time that I completely ignore the "hifi-element" and fully concentrate on the music. Before I also used to listen to the sound of my system. I w...

Re: ChrBea's system
First impression: Thank you Fredrik! The Sagatuns are definitely a great achievement. I have never heard my M140s perform this perfect. No idea how long you had them running in your lab, but today after installation, I knew immediately that they are better than my KK/1. The first notes played made m...

Re: DS firmware - what is the lastest on the most musical one?
Having switched today a few times between 53.125 and 56.173, I must say that I find 53 more engaging. My listening is not the best, as I have a cold, but somehow I feel as if some information is missing on the 56 beta. Especially while listening to some classic music, I thought the brass instruments...
