2016 has been one of the most exciting years ever in my 30+ years as a music lover.
It all started when I visited Ljudkompaniet in the mid 80s (thanks Christer and Peter) to get a new pair of speakers and went out with a brand new LP12. Heard that story many times have we... ;)
During 2016 I invested in JBL 3677 based on ecstatic reviews from jajo and Christian who had the guts to be the first to actually buy a pair outside jajo.
It was REALLY brave of these guys to get JBL's without hearing them and without comparing.
Later on I also bought a LJB 4645C sub, also based on jajo's recommendations.
THANK YOU BOTH !!
Linnofil then put a LOT of hours and money designing&testing a huge number of different stands with Christian until the Ofil 3677 stands where finalised.
And as a great Christmas present we tried out various metal bits ending up with the Ofil 4645C stands.
THANK YOU !!
Then Fredrik made the sort of impossible possible by releasing the Tarandus upgrade enhancing the performance of the already world best pre and power amps. This upgrade is nothing by a revolution!
THANK YOU !!
While at it I also like to send my best to Anders Simonsson/Tonläget, for his outstanding achievements on Klångedang T1 and Harmonihyllan. Better and better each year.
THANK YOU !!
2016 was truly a fantastic year!
Bring on 2017 :)
It's now SOOO good at home that I spent the Christmas surfing sports cars.
Yes, it's PERFECT now. Like a PA system and a live band. The bass is deadly tight and strong. You enter the house and "wow what a great band playing, I must go there and listen more" Love it!
Greetings to all of you!
PS
Which one? Miata, Boxster, Elise or GT86...

Glad to hear you're enjoying your music so much and the effort was all worthwhile. A new pic would be nice, or even a video :)
(now Porsche has ditched 6 cylinders in the 718 then the Elise has got to be worth investigating, albeit expensive for what it is. Maybe the exchange rate will help. A used Cayman GT4 would be v. nice though but I guess they are rare and pricey)

A big thank you to Fredrik in 2016 for Boazu as well as the Tarundus upgrades , and if I am not mistaken Slipsik 6 as well.
If the Lejonklou streamer development is completed in 2017, we will have good reason to be just as grateful ( perhaps even more so) this time next year.

Makes it even more ridiculous that people who are aware of Lejonklou don't even have a demo or loan a unit or two really! Come on guys, you owe it to yourselves!
Great post.
Can't wait til the autumn......

Regarding cars, I prefer the older ones as they are lighter and more agile. As with hifi, back to basics is the way forward.
