It's an hdmi model although it has a faulty laser and doesn't read discs so I have used it purely as a pre amp.
Performance is on par with a 5103 and beats a Kairn and is more reliable than both.
Bargain if you're looking for a decent pre amp. I have the original remote and box as well.
