If you're looking at these then hopefully you will need little introduction to what they offer. The Klimax crossovers are the ultimate development of Linn's activ system for loudspeakers. The version here is dedicated to the original Linn flagship Keltik loudspeakers. These speakers were the replacement for the famous Linn Isobarik speaker and employ a similar isobarik loading system. The Klimax crossovers are an ultra high quality solution and having compared against standard cards and the original tune box I can assure you that they offer a massive upgrade and fully release the enormous potential of the Keltik speakers. The Klimax upgrade literally catapults them in to a different league of performance; if you like what your Keltiks do now then you'll be blown away by the difference these make.
Each crossover is housed in its own Klimax case with its own Power supply (as used in the original CD12 player) and is a no compromise design. It can take either a balanced or phono input and offers 0.6 db adjustment for treble level and bass level in order to be tuned carefully for each room environment. Bass extension level can also be adjusted to provide additional fine tuning.
These do not come up very often and their performance is well documented on specialist forums. In terms of condition, they have always been housed on separate levels of a hifi rack and the only time they were placed on top of each other was for the above photograph. As such there are no marks or scratches and no footprint marks on the casings.
