Here is a clip of the first part, 4:30 long. Martin commented the fact that he slipped on the very first keystroke with "If that had been an audition, they would have rejected me immediately". But as an examination they judged the whole and he was approved with the highest grade!

Thank you all for your kind comments!

I just updated the Tundra Mono 3 page on the website.

Now I really need to book my photographer, as many of the products have outdated pictures.

Just with Linn 109 I keep getting distracted from other tasks, Radio Paradise is warming them up, I keep making a note of what’s playing, always a good sign.
I have always been an advocate of Tundra stereo, while I accept the mono 2 is better in many ways, I reverted to the stereo.
These are a whole new level, no swapping to see what’s best just instaneous, musical delight, another one of Fredriks achievements but this one is big.
Look forwards to a long listen tonight!

I was rather surprised at the bass coming out of the 109s with that setup. The Tundra Mono 3s are sounding very fine indeed!

I was also surprised, and that was day 1, in a compromised setup.
It’s one of those scenarios where the compromises didn’t matter as it was so good anyway!

That the 109s can sound so good with the TM3s just out of the box is frankly astonishing. These little boxes are really something.

There is a saying that if you need to measure an improvement, you haven't got one.
When 021/022 arrived I had been using a loaned Tundra stereo 2.5, as my TM2s were sold earlier. I intended to do a comparison, but never bothered. From the first track, cold and at low volume, the improvement didn't need measuring.
Now that I have had a week of running in, I realise that TM3 underlines the difference between the SMs regular inputs and the single source, even with the switch up. And when the switch goes down...
Bravo, Fredrik!

Thank you David Neel!

Six Tundra Mono 3’s left the lab today.

027 and 028 are upgraded TM2’s and were shipped to Amsterdam. Marco will evaluate them against a new pair of TM3’s.
029 and 030 were shipped to Amsterdam.
031 and 032 were shipped to Amsterdam.

And after this, I am starting to prepare for some time off during July!

TM3 versus TM2 Conversion to TM3 will certainly be an interesting test.

Wish you a restful and relaxing holiday.

I am seriously thinking of swapping my Linn Klimax Dynamik Solos to a pair of Tundra Mono 3!
My problem is how to sell the Linn Klimax Solos? :) :(. Maybe @ThomasOK can help?

Put them for sale is quite an easy solution ;)

I'm afraid I don't keep up with the used market that much. I would say that the best bets are usually Audiogon and eBay although you can also put items for sale here and on the WAM forum, which has a Linn section. As to what they are worth I would look them up on Hi-Fi Shark as they aggregate used listings from a number of sources worldwide including those I first mentioned plus US and Canadian AudioMarts.

TM 3. 027/028 ( upgraded TM2s)

This is for Marco

Any reports on how these compare to standardTM3s.

I’m expecting them to be a huge upgrade on TM2 and very close to brand new TM3s.
