Unfortunately I believe your are in pursuit of the unobtainable. I for one have been to a few live performances and I am glad my system doesn't sound like that.

The blind being led by the blind comes to mind. Those guys are totally lost and need a musical compass to guide them through the hifi jungle. My compass points towards “harmony, rhythms and tunes”. Following it is the only way I know of ending up where I want to be.

Audiogon sends out a list of the hot discussions to us every week. Everyone who works here has found that actually reading any of them, even the ones that have titles that sound interesting enough to catch your attention, is at best a total waste of time and at worst actually depressing.
