Do you know where the gain is set on your Linto? The lower gain level is musically superior to the default configuration.
Thanks Mark, although I'm only aware of a cut you can make to drop the gain by 10db. Is that what you're referring to? I thought you were only supposed to cut that if the red light comes on...
The Dorian is 0.6mV (medium output, as you say) whereas the Koil is 0.4mV (same as Akiva) and classed as low output, so think I'll sit tight for now but thanks for the reminder!

Last week I picked up a used Linto (circa 2000) but that's not doing anything for me for some reason, although it's clearly superior to the Wakonda MC in many ways. Both Kairns are now moved on.

I should add that the Linto has grown on me. I can't escape the tunefulness and engagement it adds to a lot of music. Just need to get used to the slightly sluggish timing compared to the Wakonda MC. Leading edges seem slowed down.
Very nice tube like sonics, the power amp is goood. Plenty of bass drive in very good time! It really feels like the naits would be lacking in comparison but a little hard to compare A/B since I have MC on Myst and MM on Naits. One advantage with myst is also that I can use my Lejonklou soldered split K400.
I would like to share some video recordings but don't remember how to do it. Other platforms made that type of sharing so easy so it feels rather tedious on here. Can someone please walk me thru the forum golden standard of sharing clips?
Congrats, Charlie!
Hope you enjoy them. Entity must e great and go superb with Boazu. For me, Boazu is calmer and follows the flow of the music better than Nait 1. less fatigue and just music. I understand you love your Kans: ) Here is my modern Kans: )

I will give them a go later in the year for sure. Speaking of synergy, there is quite a close synergy between Kan 1s and the pre-Cirkus LP12 bearing but let's see.
I think Kans look nicer, by far, but they are different. Took some time to get used to, but now they av grown in me. Will be very interesting to hear how your two LK amps work.y experience is that Boazu, especially 1.3 takes some time break in and for it to ‘soften’ soundwise.
