This is good information. I'll be rebuilding the system in a week's time as I move home. If they are friends, I will try that out. Thanks.

System rebuilt. I decided I have a slight preference for Entity sharing with Hakai rather than Radikal. That was a couple of weeks ago.

Small package arrived today. My Entity is now 1.1. From cold it is cleaner and more expressive. Looking forward to when it's fully warm!

After about twenty hours, Entity 1.1 is singing! The additional cleanliness and expression has been joined by all the power and dynamics. Mesmerisingly musical!

This thread is really informative. The Entity and Krystal are the phono stage and cartridge at the top of my list as my next upgrade, and reading peoples experiences and reviews with them on an LP12 are exactly what I have been trying to find.
Kind regards

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone! I am really enjoying reading all the threads on this forum especially the ones regarding Lejonklou phonostages and compatible cartridges. I have an LP12 between somewhere between an Akurate and Klimax and the phonostage is the next piece of the puzzle. Mainly lurking but hope to contribute in the future. Regards Grandad Matt

Welcome Matt,
I entered the forum after buying the Slipsik 6.1. Recently got the 7.1. Very joyful phonostages. And interesting useful threads to read.

for me the sweetspot is Krystal with Entity as Kandid is too much running costs for me and the new Ekstatik is even more out of the range for me.

I am really happy with the Entity - it is an outstanding phonostage.

After listening to the Entity 1.1 with a Linn Kandid cartridge for awhile (with great pleasure and satisfaction), I'll be switching over to the new Linn Ekstatik cartridge later this week. And needles to say, I'm looking forward to hearing how the Ekstatik cartridge sounds through the Entity, especially when compared to the Kandid cartridge. Unfortunately, it might be later in the following week before I can report my findings and thoughts...

Be aware that the Ekstatik needs a diffent load setting than the Kandid, the difference was clearly notable on a Urika 2.
Congratulations on an absolutely fantastik cartridge!

Thanks for the heads-up Tendaberry, and I'll talk with Thomas about that as well.

Same question, as I am waiting for an offer from my dealer regarding the Ekstatik.

Thanks Tendaberry regarding the Entity 1.1. Hope this will be clarified soon. Seems I can save myself a test at home at the moment.

The max. nominal cartridge output level for Entity is 0.4 mV @ 3.54 cm/s, the output of Ekstatik is slightly higher (0,45mV).

I'm using the same load setting for the Ekstatik cartridge, as I did for the Kandid cartridge. And needless to day, the Entity 1.1 sounds even better with the new Ekstatik cartridge!
