Same here, thanks Thomas. I think someone else said the same. Hopefully it will improve further.

A comparison between AVM Fritzbox Router 7312 and 7590. Have fun.

Sorry for the lousy sound. It doesn't sound so terrible in the room, I think. But maybe the bad sound of the recording is quite helpful in making a decision. :)

I do think the lo-fi sound actually made it easier to decide with not a ton of details in the sound to distract me.

Thanks Vlado,
I think really musical SMPS are underrepresented in audio circles.

I would like to thank everyone who listened to my clips and voted for their favourite.
1) = 7590
2) = 7312

I like the 7312 more when I listen to the system.

Thank you all for your response and sorry for the late reply.
I think they are close but i prefer T:
H: Is Hakai and T: is a little experiment i'm working on, so i guess there will be more clips to follow...

lejonklou wrote: 2021-06-18 15:01
Both sound good to me.

Although T is more direct and perhaps more pitch accurate, I feel there's a depth and focus on the finer details in H that draws me into the music more.
beck wrote: 2021-06-18 14:43 I enjoyed T and prefer it.
Charlie1 wrote: 2021-06-18 16:40 They seem really close to me but I preferred T which seemed to better hold everything together to my mind.

Sounding good!

+1, I caтch myself ... foot taping, most probably better PRaT.
ThomasOK wrote: 2021-06-18 17:22 I'm with Fredrik on this. I find T a bit more propulsive but to me there is more emotion in the voice on H and I feel the music flows better on it as well.
tpetsch wrote: 2021-06-18 18:41 I had more difficulty following the tune on (T), so (H) for me too.
Tendaberry wrote: 2021-06-19 10:04 I instinctively wanted to listen longer to H, so I guess I prefer that one. They are very close though.
Spannko wrote: 2021-06-19 11:17 Hm, interesting one, and it looks like we’re split on this one.

I’m going for T, because I found it the most tuneful and slightly more rhythmical, so should provide the most enjoyment over time and with a wider variety of music.

Both are good, but my vote goes for "H", its more emotionally engaging, even if these two are not that far away from each other.

I agree that clip 2 is more musical than whatever you are Tinkering with in clip 1. Although i'm not sure I really wanted to hear that song right now.

Yup, me too, again, (H) for me conveys the tune and emotion more so over (T).

I agree.
After downloading the clips onto my ipad I find them really close!

There is a quality to the sound from T I really like and the music is not bad either. I think I am going to change my mind though I find choosing a winner difficult.

I am really warming to the way T plays and how the bas notes fold into the music. So to encourage your search with T I will change my mind. :-)

.....and if you enjoy your T solution I would personally not change anything.

I still prefer H.

My impression was that it was easier this time than the first T versus H-comparison.

You are not alone Beck. I also like the sound of T and have nothing to criticise about the musicality.
