Wanted: KK PSU etc. also RoomAmp 2i

I had hoped recently to get hold of a KK with a broken display, but that deal fell through as the owner decided that he did want to repair it and keep it.

However, I spotted on eBay the main circuit board from a KK/0, and bid on it on a bit of a whim really. I've now won it, and I figured that I'd try to get it working. I know it's not as good as a full KK/1/D in a proper case, but I still reckon it will be a pretty preamp, controlled through RS232 from a DS...

So, if anyone has a KK PSU (perhaps the old one from a Dynamik upgrade) or any other bits (display, internal cables etc.) I'd be very interested in buying them off you!

As a case, I was thinking about something which would look good with a Renew (as this will probably be used in my second system, with a Klimax Renew DS/0). Does anyone have a RoomAmp2i that they want to sell? (Ideally faulty, as I just want to keep the case...)

As well as the analogue board you will need a PSU, a digital control board and some ribbon cable for linking it together. I don't believe you need the display if you control it using RS232 to a DS. The only source of the digital control board is Linn themsleves. They are not too expensive from memory. Cheapest option on the PSU is from a KK that has been Dynamiked. We have a customer the built one (and a Klimax DS too which is much easier as it only needs a PSU). We will contact them and see if they are happy to speak to you - most likely they will. From memory the ribbon cable can be tricky to source/make but my customer knows the details.
