Post by Charlie1 »

Pair of Linn Ninka speakers in maple. They were purchased new in Feb 2007 and are in perfect condition with no markings or sunlight damage. Linn's five year extended warranty means they are covered for another 1 year 3 months. The warranty is transferable to the new owner anywhere in the world.

Included are the original Linn bases, tools, manual and twin box packaging.

Serial numbers 1111373 and 1111374.

Price £600, cash only. Collection from Oxfordshire. Happy to demonstrate.

I take it you've decided to keep the 109s then? Or do you have another cunning plan?

Yeah, keeping the 109s. I'll miss the bass big time when it comes to turning up the volume, but for the low-volume listening I do 90% of the time the 109s are the better choice for me.

You playing any music yet or still living in a construction site?

I can see the logic in that. Are you going to keep the 6100 and K600 and aktivate the 109s, or keep them passive with a 2200 or KCT and more discreet cable?

Was hoping to put the system back together this weekend, but there's one final coat of oil to go on the sitting room floor before we can move everything back in. Even my temporary system with wall mounted Tukans has had to be put away. :(

Still, at least I now have my bedroom system (Squeezebox plus Tivoli Model 3 radio and companion speaker) back, so I can listen to more music than have been able to for the last few months!

I will keep the 6100 for now. If a cheap pair of 109 aktiv cards come my way then I'll add those. Need some stands too. Might go passive with KCT one day.

Look forward to seeing the finished product.
