Hi, could this amp be used in the US? Does any power voltage need to be modified?

    Thank you

Yes, it can be used in the US, but it needs to be opened and converted to the lower voltage range by a retailer or distributor.

Could the amp also be upgraded to the most current specification by local retailer if one desired? Thank you

The upgrade to version 2.5 requires a return to Uppsala, Sweden or, after the trip to North America, a visit at the Lejonklou distributor Nokturne Audio in Michigan.

Please note that it can also only be upgraded to 2.5 if it is a serial number higher than 60. Earlier Tundra stereo amps can only be upgraded as high as version 2.2.

    Hi,

Serial number is 49, it was upgraded to Tarandus by Fredrik about 2.5 years ago and is perfect condition.

I’m only selling it because I upgraded to the Mono’s, its a fantastic piece of Engineering.

    Regards,

Tundra stereo 2.2 is indeed an exceedingly fine piece of gear. I just finished comparing a brand new $5000 preamp and $4000 power amp (that will have to remain anonymous) to a Sagatun stereo and Tundra stereo 1.2. It wasn't even close, the Lejonklou gear wasted the others.

    Hi William,
How old is the amp, are you the first owner, condition etc?
As, I understand the development of the Tundra range, this amp with S/N <60 cannot be further upgraded- correct?
I am looking for an amp for my less efficient B&W 805 Signature (about 88dB)and wonder if the Tundra wood be a good match, or if it will run short with power. In case you have any such experience? (Preamp is an EAR Yoshino 864 tube).
    Kind regards
    Henrik

Since the Tundra can drive a pair of Linn Akurate 242's, there should be no problem with the 805's.
