I sold my KEDSM to somebody on this forum located in Germany. The problem was getting it to him via insured delivery for an item that was £4750 in value. DPD was going to cost £280 ! However the buyer suggested I try UPS Standard Service which turned out to be £79 fully insured which is brilliant. I dropped it off at a collection point on a Wednesday morning and it was delivered to the buyer in Munich on Friday afternoon.

Royal Mail Special Delivery is cost effective as long as the box you are sending is small enough and gives you £2500 cover for £30. UPS standard with £2000 cover would be £30.

I've found out about the UPS option since I made that comment and I think it now works out about £40, so I now have included the postal option on my listing on Ebay.

However you have reminded me that I've not edited the original comment to reflect that so thanks for that.
