Klimax Kontrol and and Akurate Radikal

I have had the KK for around 4 years. It is one of the most fundamental upgrades I’ve implemented in my system. It’s so musical. I’ve now replaced with a Klimax DSM/KAT.

It is the MK1 variant with twin mono boards and Dynamik from new. The unit functions superbly, it is in silver and completely unmarked and pristine. In it’s original box with mains lead and Linn Silvers and remote.

I’d love to hear your thoughts on A. Radikal vs. Klimax Radikal

My thoughts on going from Radikal Akurate case to Klimax case with no other changes.
It’s not a massive jump but I do believe it lets me hear more of the music. The noise floor seems to be reduced and there is more subtlety revealed. Sibilants were never an issue previously but more notable now by its absence.

Of course I would say that because I bought it so there is an element of expectation bias going on. I hope most would agree that at this level it would be unrealistic to expect a night and day improvement. In summary I think it increases my musical understanding if that makes sense.
Linn don’t make any claim for increased performance between the casings.
