Charlie - is that two lengths of 2.4m, and do you actually mean £150? That's £30/m!

Thanks

The price new is about £190 + £20 shipping from Sweden. I can include UK shipping for £150.

Hi Charlie1,

While navigating through the advertisements here, your attachment caught my eye!

That looks like an interesting wiring setting for the Majik 140 as it seems that both bananas have been connected to the tweeter elements in a single-wire configuration.

How have you ended up with the configuration, if I may ask? If possible, could you describe how does it compare to what Linn recommends in its manual for optimal performance, connecting the cables to the super tweeter and bass inputs?

Thank you.

Try it for yourself, I have my 212's connected the same way as recommended by Frederik and set up by Chris of Hidden Systems, although the other options were tried, it was the best option. Each to their own, experiment or slavishly follow Linn's advice ?

Charlie1 sorry to have wandered off topic on your thread, good luck with the sale.

No probs. At least it's top of the hit parade for a few hours.

I can only echo your comments. The Linn recommended way offers more controlled bass and more separation, but is less musical. As Neil mentioned, I also got the idea from Fredrik. The theory is that the tweeter is the most important drive unit in terms of musicality.
