Hi, I am selling my Akurate 242s. Mk2 black, with original silver stands (not upgrade version). I am the 2nd owner and have enjoyed them for 8 years. Linn have confirmed the production date was Jan 2009. Over the years I’ve powered them with different amps - Linn Lk 140s, 5125, Lejonklou Tundra stereo and currently Lejonklou monos. They sound great. Only reason for sale is the opportunity of an upgrade.
There is a very minor chip to the veneer on the rear right corner of one speaker. Hardly noticeable and happened when the original retailer was delivering them to the first owner!
I have the original boxes. The one thing missing is the tool for adjusting the stand spikes.
