From the Market Rules: "When your gear has been sold, we ask that you add *SOLD* to the BEGINNING of the subject line"

In the top, right corner of the message you want to edit you will see a series of icons that look something like this:

Select the left most icon that looks like a pen/pencil. You will now be able to edit the original post, including the subject line.
