Linn Akurate 212 MKII speakers for sale

In American Cherry. Not marked. Silver arrays. Original Linn packaging. S/N 123304* and 123304*.

A change to my system means that these speakers are for sale. Potential buyers are very welcome to listen to the 212s at my home (Bourne, Lincolnshire). At present, I am using them active with four Tundra stereo amps.

Price is £ 1300 plus postage.

Do you have Klimax crossovers for these, or how were you running them aktiv?

I do not have stands for them. At present they are wall mounted on Linn Brakits.

They are driven by KEDSM, Akurate 10 channel Exakt box using three stereo Tundra 2's and one 1.2. Absolutely brilliant especially when considering the room size they play in.

I've wondered about the idea of running my 242s on an Exaktbox and a set of Tundra Stereos...

I do not have stands for the 212's. But if it helps I have just learnt from contacts who have a lot more experience than me with HiFi, that 109 stands work extremely well with 212's, and possibly better than actual 212 stands.

Majik 109 stands cost £ 190 new.

And, Majik stands come up on the s/h market fairly regularly...

They are still available and can easily be configured to run in bi-amp passive mode.

You can also run them with aktiv bass and passive arrays using a 4200 with the relevant aktiv cards.
