I am not sure whether there is significant difference between KK/1 and KK/2.

Do you have the serial no.

The only physical difference between the KK/1 and KK/2 is that the latter has a power switch under the front panel. The KK/1 has no power switch. This switch was put there solely to meet EU electrical power usage standards. It is possible it could have an effect on musical performance (indeed I think Fredrik would say it is almost a certainty) but I have not done an A/B comparison to determine the amount or direction of the effect.

Otherwise the main board, control board, display board and power supply are all the same. I expect Linn would say there is no musical difference.
