Movingui plinth, Radikal, Keel, Ekos SE, Urika, Arkiv. The money has been put in the right place - that's quite a table.

Looks very similar to my Movingui plinth, although the wood grain pattern is slightly different 8) . Overall, it is a much better sounding (and better looking) wood plinth than my previous Linn stock Afromosia plinth :!:

It sounds great and a real improvement over my original cherry plinth. Much more tuneful and a just "right"
Next step is to let Fredrik tweak it to perfection.

Yes I know. The problem is to time it as we live far apart. I'm very curious about the improvement it will bring.

In my humble opinion, you'll hear an improvement in performance... 8) When my Sondek gets upgraded, I have a very long distance to travel as well, but it's always been worth the effort :!:

I have recently brought my LP12 to Fredrik for optimal setup. I also live far from Fredrik and I actually took the LP12 with me by train. I would describe the improvement like a boost of the Radikal upgrade. Very pitch accurate sound. Definitely worthwhile and a big upgrade for the money.
the players of instruments shall be there..

So, denuded the Akiva, eh? Should sound even better. Still haven't gotten around to it myself. Since I have a Kandid on order I'll probably forgo the modification - especially considering the delicacy of the operation.

I couldn't resist, envy of not having an Kandid.
It's hard to tell the improvement of the operation as I checked a few fasteners inside the player as well, but the over all result was very positive.
