Linncredibles system

Post by Linncredible »

Hi!

I'm enjoying fabulous music from my system that consists of:

Akurate DS/D
Kikkin 2.2
C6100/D
Ninka aktiv with polymer stands

+ silver IC + K400 + Readynas duo + Netgear GS108T

All tuned in with care by Mr L himself! :-)

Moved to a new apartment earlier this year. Much nicer living close to the waterfront but, unfortunately, a little bit worse conditions when it comes to acoustics etc (a bit hard to avoid boomy bass).

ADS/0 Dyn. and Kikkin 2.2 still going strong. C6100 and aktive Ninkas gone, and replaced by Tundra and M140 on alum. stands.

Last development includes upgrade from Tundra 1.0 --> Tundra 1.1 and tuning and optimizing of the equipment on place by mr L. himself.

The result is really great. Very easy to be musically involved and emotionally touched, can't stop listening!! :-D Thank you Fredrik for great products and superior service!!

Latest upgrades: to ADS/0/1 and Tundra 1.2. Plays absolutely lovely (right now The Staves - recommended!)!! Don't know what next step will be (control amp? NAS?), time will tell, but no hurry with music playing this good!!

Now with the recommended 2,48 m K200. A very nice (and apparent) improvement/upgrade from earlier 1,5 m! :-)

Great to hear that, Linncredible!

As I mentioned, your pair of loudspeaker cables has been a bad conscience of mine. It was the last pair I made that short in length and it was my recommendation, rather than your request. Soon after, I began suspecting that there was an optimal length and that it wasn't "the shorter, the better". A few months later I knew that optimal was somewhere in between 2 and 3 metres.

I'm glad they were finally replaced and that you're pleased with the result.
