Hi Sopper

I would certainly like to try a set of your cables between Kalla and Sagatun Monos- Let me know when you have finalised the details and are production ready.

Maybe once Fredrik has tried his set they could be sent to Forum members who are curious and keen to improve on the Linn Silvers.

That's a great idea, I'd certainly like a trial. If there's something more musical and enjoyable than silvers, I'm all for it. Please put me in the queue!

Thanks for the great idea, both of you.
Once I received the materials to make a new batch, I will provide demo-cables which can pass on thru forum-members.

Excellent - cant wait.

We had a similar thing going on at Kantata Audio when Kalla first came out in the UK. Was a great success with everyone trialing it and posting onto the next Forum member.

I think most of us ordered one long before our trial period finished.

I think I posted my comment on the wrong thread. If there are any cables arriving to the US for trials id love to add my name to the trial list.

Will you be selling your cables through a traditional dealer network?

I am a small start up company and planning to stay small.
I don’t want to be and cannot be big, I have a fulltime other job
Making cables is in my free time
No website, no dealers
I can produce maximum of 2 pair cables per week, if I spent all my free time, which I don’t and don’t want to.
So I make them on order, besides the test/demo cables.

Hi Sopper,

just out of curiosity, why do you sell your Lejonklou devices?
Thanks

Time to move on
Started with trying something else for Kalla
Began to dislike being stuck to AirPlay and Spotify
Found a nice analogue sounding dac that fits my taste and using a streamer which can fetch music, so my phone is just a remote control and not the player.
Also, I always liked Qobuz more then Spotify, but Qobuz was not enjoying enough with KALLA, Spotify was better.
New streamer + dac and Qobuz sounds amazing again.

I was unable to fix the interference coming out from my left speaker. Somehow, I found out that using a power amplifier with toroidal power supply solved it.
So I have an extraordinary rare case where the power supply of the Tundra picks somehow a signal …

When trying some different power amplifiers with toroidal power supply, I also found out that having more power “juice”, I enjoy the music, especially on low volume, more then the Tundra. So it was a win win in my situation.

Final step was to audition different preamps.
And I found one that is more musical then Sagatun when combined with the non-Lejonklou streamer/dac/power amplifier.

So it was not all planned, but just happened, when curiosity made me try something different.

To be honest Spannko, I don’t mind you’re asking
But I am reluctant to post it in public
After all, we are here at the “Lejonklou” forum

I must confess that I have a love-hate-relationship to Spotify, so I am looking forward what Qobuz Connect will bring to the party. AFAIK, they will launch it at High End Munich in May.
