Yes,
to my ear it sounds considerably better with songcast disabled.

Hmmm, I can't find anywhere to disable it. I'm on Davaar 4.1.7

Its in konfig, there is an enabled/disabled option, then you have to reboot.

4.1.7 with songcast disabled has improved the bass. Jaco Pastorius sounds as if his claim to be the best bass player has a little more merit. Any improvement in the mid bass is a musical blessing.

Disabled songcast with official Davaar still doesn't do it for me.

I compared an upgraded KDS Davaar (release) with and without songcast at my dealer's room.
We all agreed (3 people) it sounds sligtly better songcast disabled.
