Fuse replacement

I'm considering replacing the fuse of my KDS/D with one of these "audiophile" ones (Furutech,...).
Has someone experienced an improvement replacing the fuse?
If so could you help me locating it in te Klimax DS?
Thanks in advance

Hi Manelus!

My opinion of audiophile fuses is not suitable for print. Those that I've tried have been terrible beyond belief. Before trying them I had no idea a simple fuse could do so much harm.

Apart from that, I doubt whether KDS has any removable fuse. As I'm not sure, maybe someone else can help.

Thanks Lejonklou,
Best fuse is not fuse at all :)
Anyway I guess there will be a fuse (maybe not replazable), can someone please confirm?

There is a fuse in the Dynamik.

Is it removeable? Has anybody tried?

I can't see a replazable fuse inside the KDS/D, so I won't be able to try.

There is a removable fuse in the KDS, but cannot see the reason to change it.

It's been reported to improve "clean" sound, since it is not very expensive it's something I thought I could try.
I would appreciate if you can tell me the location of the fuse.
I promise to report results :)
Thanks

Fuses are directional, so ideally you should optimise both the existing and the new fuses to make it a fair test.

I found it a very small benefit and would be surprised if you hear any change (in orientation) unless using the Tune Method of evaluation.

My Lingo (i.e. source) was most improved, so KDS is the best place to try this, if indeed you can.

The fuse is located on the Dynamik power supply, but remember to unplug the mains first! Still not convinced by these kind of tweaks.
