I can see why some like the 4.67.262 it is impressive at the start - toe tapping and has a good boggie factor ... but I think its a trap.
I like the tune of the recommendation from David better (4.63.223)

I haven't had time to have a good look at it, but it seems a bit of a muddle to me. But useful to get a lot of knowledge in one place.

"Updating Linn Device Firmware
This is only available for products WITHOUT the RECOVER function
Konfig is primarily for use of Retailers and Installers for setting up and software updates of the Linn DS products. If you have any doubt of the operation of this software please do not use and call you Retailer/installer for assistance.

First download the desired firmware from here"

I do not understand what is happening. Perhaps it is a move to phase out the availability of "old" firmwares.

EDIT: Btw, browsing the list of firmwares, I find a reference to KlimaxDsmMk4 -which would be Klimax DSM/3 in LinnDocs parlance, except there is no such model mentioned in LinnDocs, that I can find.

no new KDSM so far - what the firmware shows is a component change for the newest latest model of the KDSM/2
same can be found for KDS/3 there is an MK5 software because of a component change (if I remember right some of the processors in the device can be changed now)
