SaltyDog was kind enough to send me some Zipped KlimaxDs files, will they work with my Sneakyds do you know?

I am trying to install it now...

RESULT
I could install it but it would not make my Sneaky play.

And some difficulties getting it to work again...

It thinks it's called Klimax now andressetting to factory defaults does not help.

Managed to restore to factory setting at last. It took some waiting.
I like the Cara 4 (3.4.3) best so far.

Sorry but I don't agree about Cara 6 being the best sw to date (KDS), though I agree version 3.6.7 is clearly the best of the entire "6" family.

I confess I was quite positive at the beginning about 3.6.7 but a proper tune-dem of this version against my previuos best (3.4.2) showed that the former has obvious timing problems, IMO. It's quite odd but some instruments and musical threads sound completely out of time with 3.6.7 while on 3.4.2 they're perfectly time_and_pich accurate.

BTW, I couldn't detect this until I made a direct comparison between the two versions, I just had the feeling that some of the involvement and emotion was somehow diluted, while the sound was very appealing.

If someone wants to compare I'll gladly send him 3.4.2 for KDS (sadly I didn't save it for any other machine).

I've just retried 3.4.2 and in my system and to my ears it is not anywhere near as well presented as 3.6.7. I find 3.4.2 to sound a little smeared and lacking in dynamics. It tends to tire me. This seems to me to be something that could be cured with speaker position.

3.6.7 is my choice now.

Hmmm, maybe you're the only person that views this forum with that particular unit... Or maybe not... 8)
