I bought one some years ago. It's still in daily use, in the kitchen...

Not the answer I was hoping for :)

But.....I'll try a couple myself and It's good to know they also serve another purpose if not in tune :)

Yes, but not in the kitchen ;-) We made a comparison of about 7 different types of shelves on a spiked stand and they were ok, but no more. The best ones were a lot better.

That's exactly what I wanted to know. Thanks I'll buy one for the kitchen. Seem fine for that. :)

I never thought the Tune Method would be mentioned when judging kitchen tools.

Depends on whether you want to use it for slicing tuna.

The one I tried is now used for Lego building with the kids on the carpet.

I'm trying to block out the Lack of respect for the musicality of all things IKEA :)

Quite :) Instructive that those assembled here couldn't put together something positive... Maybe should have expected some cutting remarks ;)

I don't block out all things IKEA, just the ones that lack interest for me. In fact I Expedit-ed my way down there when I needed a record cabinet (though admittedly I bought another one for the kitchen). I also have kitchen chairs from there but haven't been able to figure out an apt pun for Ekedalen.

It feels like we're being dalenquent if we can't figure out how to eke a pun from that... have we butchered this enough now?
