Majik DSM /. Power off or keep stand by?

Hi all, newbie question... do you guys power off your equipment after listening or keep on standby? There is a blue light from inside the case that keeps flashing continuously even in stand by. It’s a bit annoying when light are out.

I turned off the exakt lights but this internal one not sure I can turn off.

I leave everything on except my power amp (and the power amp only because its Class A and draws 200Watt/h even in idle).
Equipment needs at least 1 hour to sound wonderful - preamps and phono pre sometimes need 24hours to sound perfect

+1, some of my equipment even don't have on/off switch ...

I ended turning of the Ethernet LED and that resolved the internal blinking light .

Yes, I think you'll find most of us keep our equipment powered up all the time except for the LP12. I unplug the entire setup for vacations but otherwise it is always on. Even with that it sounds the best after a period of warmup.

Thanks ThomasOK. I always felt I needed to shut them down after use thinking that it would help lengthen the life of the machine. But now I’ll leave them on if they are designed to work that way.

actually power cycling shortens the lifetime - thats cold - warm - cold - warm (a taxi car also lasts longer than a car that only sees occasional use)

+1. Just like light bulbs, most electronics fail when hit by the initial surge of power when switched on.
