is it just me being unlucky but I have the feeling almost 8 out of 10
180g vinyl records are warped.
The issue is its not getting better when I send it back for a replacement.
I dont have that problem with normal records - yes there is a warped one once in a while but not as often.
I am asking myself what is the value of a 180g vinyl if the quality control is sloppy.
180g Vinyl mostly warped?

Re: 180g Vinyl mostly warped?
I don't buy that much new vinyl but when I do it's quite often warped. Dunno what % though. Most vinyl seems to be 180g these days.

Strangely I cannot remember a single record, that I had to send back because it was warped. I must be buying different lp's than you are doing ;-)
Re: 180g Vinyl mostly warped?
yes Tendaberry maybe its because you mostly buy US pressings
Seems Europe has lower quality.
Actually the worst with respect to warped records is the german „High End“ label Stockfish Records.

Needless to say, I don't own any of those. I have sold off all of my other audiophile pressings as well. Not a single one of the ones I had was better than the regular US original. Mostly they just killed the tune and timing :-(

got another 180g Vinyl
Sophie Zelmani
Precious Burden
warped and looks like a bowl
