Led Zeppelin II, a 1974 UK pressing. Great condition and great sound.

Caught my 8-year old daughter dancing in her chair while eating dinner and when asked whether she liked the music she replied “my butt can’t stop dancing”.

Funny side note: the excellent second hand record store where I picked it up places Zeppelin etc in a rack with the intentionally stigmatizing label “Senior Rock”. I can live with that haha.

Oh that reminds me of an episode of The Simpsons set in the future and on Lisa’s wall there’s a poster for The Rolling Stones’ “Steel Wheelchair Tour” ;)

Edit: I looked it up and the “future year” it’s set in is 2010. Even funnier!

1) Traffic, second studio album on United Artists Records, released in October 1968.

2) "Last Exit" by Traffic (live at the Fillmore Auditorium on side two) United Artists record label, May 1969.

3) "John Barleycorn Must Die" by Traffic on Island record label released in July 1970.

4) "The Low Spark of High Heeled Boys" by Traffic on Island record label, released in November 1971.

5) "When The Eagle Flies" by Traffic on Island record label, released in September 1974.

This weekend I'll be unleashing the musical power of Stevie Ray Vaughan, and it's sure to be a real "double trouble" time!

1) "Texas Flood" by Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble, on Epic record label June 1983.

2) "Couldn't Stand The Weather" by Stevie Ray Vaughan, on Epic record label May 1984.

3) "Family Style" by the Vaughan Brothers, on Epic record label September 1990.

4) "The Sky is Crying" by Stevie Ray Vaughan, on Epic record label November 1991.

Not the latest record to enter my collection but I simply have to share this:

https://youtu.be/50jKrmt0TI8

Laid Back with Sunshine Reggae is a song that always makes me smile.

Poetic and somehow uplifting video despite the circumstances!

A small suggestion to all:

When posting here we could pick out a favorite track among the latest records and promote it with a youtube link or the like. It will make it easier for us to be inspired and get into music we did not know about beforehand. :-)
