Art Blakey: Pisces, Blue Note Original 1975 King Japan Pressing
Sonny Clark: My Conception, Blue Note, Original 1980 King Japan Pressing.
Both shipped from Tokyo and arrived in the UK before the 20mm socket that I need to mount the Karousel that I ordered from the UK on the same day!
No 'Obi' for either of these but I don't really care - the quality of the pressing is super. Unfortunately these Japanese King pressings are moving up in price. I'm not surprised as in my experience they are usually first class.

Here's the records I added over the last week or so:
A customer came in with about 30 records he didn't want to just give them to us. Keith picked out three but wasn't interested in the rest. I took home about 5 Bill Evans and the 2 Duke Ellingtons. A week later nobody else had wanted any of the remainders so I took the rest of the Bill Evans records. I have now played most of the Bill Evans records, some of them are two record sets, and the condition ranges from Excellent to Near Mint. Those are in the first photo. The second photo includes some older records I purchased, including the sealed Chris Isaak "Wicked Dreams", and the new The Specials "Encore" record. I have listened to jazz pä ryska, This One's For Blanton and Wicked Game and am enjoying all of them.

Wow Thomas, I'm totally in envy! A whole bunch of Bill Evans lp's! The others look mighty fine, too.

Good selections. Even In The Quietest Moments... has always been one of my favorites by them.

I was looking at that Sia album just the other day. You must be a fan of Zero 7.

Coincidentally 'In The Waiting Line' from 'Simple Things' just played on Radio Paradise. I can't find this album on Qobuz, so I'll have to take a punt: https://www.discogs.com/sell/item/1229323329
I really liked it. It sounded like Morcheeba.

It’s a good album, hope you like it. Their next two are good as well. I think I tried years ago to get Morcheeba on vinyl and had no luck. Will check it out again and see if there’s any reissues.springwood64 wrote: ↑2021-01-01 16:00Coincidentally 'In The Waiting Line' from 'Simple Things' just played on Radio Paradise. Re: Latest records to enter your collection
After a mere 33 days in transit from Spain to Denmark, my US copy of Bob Dylan's 'Modern Times' arrived.

All, essentially, triggered by beck finding the cd version one of the most challenging discs to play in his system :)
Ah, not quite true - I've always enjoyed this album so it was vinyl feelgood time!

Glad I could help OscarH! :-)
As stated elsewhere I now enjoy my Modern Times on cd. Just great music and I am listening as I write.
