Still in development but a good step up from the rather basic Linn GUI.
To be released officially later during the spring.

Likely a spinoff from the Kinsky PDA application.
Working great on my IBM Thinkpad, no issues so far
(disregard the exception warnings during application startup, some features aren’t fully working yet it seems)
This going to save you time
1/ double click on "Media server" (top left), select your NAS
2/ highlight your DS (top right)
3/ work yourself down in the Twonky catalogues (middle section)
4/ add albums/tracks to the playlist section (right section) pressing the button "add to playlist" (bottom right)
NOTE if you forget to highlight your DS in the top right corner, you can’t add tracks/albums to the playlist.

It's all about musical understanding!
Kinsky desktop is a great and promising application for a alpha stage but still too unstable for an intense use.
I hope Linn increase its efforts to develop as soon as possible a more stable and complete release.

I'm running under Vista, maybe this is the case.Music Lover wrote:Unstable?
On my third week without any issue what so ever.
Running XP SP3 what about you?
Often the app freeze and becomes unusable. Then I must reinstall it and launch againg to get it working again! :(
