Dynamik PSU compability

Post by Slav »

Hi
I have a question regarding Dynamik , are they made specifically for every Linn component . I am interested in Unidisk 1.1 , could I use dynamik unit from different product and which one's would be compatible to this cd ?
Regards

There's a few. Some are indeed shared by multiple components, such as various power amps, but not all power amps

Sometimes the component has to go back to Linn so they can modify the casework to accept the Dynamik

Some components accept a Dynamik PSU, but it's not supported by Linn. Others are supported, but there are caveats to bear in mind, such as loss of settings when switched off

Probably easier to tell us which two devices the PSU will be moved between

I've seen Dynamik PSU for Linn Chakra and advert says it could be used for Unidisk 1.1 , hence my question .
Thanks Slav

OK, I think I understand. The Unidisk and Akurate CD share the same PSU. Linn don't offer Dynamik upgrade to the Majik CD

If it says "Linn Chakra" then it means it's suitable for a Majik or Akurate amplifier, but would not be the same as CD player power supply.
