My rack allows to support each level with a suspended or unsuspended
support. I use Trampolin feet (enough of them laying around by now)
for the suspended version, made in size to fit the rack and the
equipment. For every device, I check first whether a suspended
support is better or worse. All of the modern Linn gear I tried sounds
best unsuspended (Linto too). This is in contrast to the LK generation,
where the Klout improved much from suspension, Kairn also. We
could not find a general rule, be it SMD or not, switched mode power
supply or not.... I fear one has to try individually. As of the Urika,
I wonder whether the comments stem from knowledge or guessing.
Realizing that Exotik, Mx100 amps, Ax200 amps, Radikal case
all dislike suspension, I would like to hear a non-suspended Urika.

Interesting information indeed 8) . I have tried using Vibrapods and Vibracones under various audio components. So far, they have improved the performance of my preamplifiers. This includes an American made preamplifier, Japanese preamplifier and a Linn Kairn preamplifier. However, I'm in the process of evaluating the use of these particular isolation devices under my new Linn Akurate Kontrol with Dynamik power supply.

Vibrapods and Vibracones have improved the Linn Linto performance as well, but did not improve the performance of my Linn Lingo. As such, I haven't tried using them under my Radikal and not sure if I should try. Since the Urika has it's own built-in isolation devices, it won't be an issue.

Perhaps there is no "clear-cut" outcome with these isolation devices, and each component needs to be evaluated based on it's own merits.
