Hi All
What is the file the software is looking for for the album art and where should it be. I am using Twonky with Nokia 800.
Also I have recently updated the Leia software but I have noticed that the playlist fails to update and therefore you do not see which track is currently playing with the highlighted track being the first that was played.

What version of Twonky are you using? Twonky is looking for a Folder.jpg as album art, there is also the possibility of having album art embedded into the flac files.pjs6557 wrote:What is the file the software is looking for for the album art and where should it be. Furthermore Leia is looking at last.fm for album art as alternative, if you have an last.fm account and the appropriate checkbox is ticked.
In its current version Leia is (only) supporting eventing, i.e. the Linn DS will tell Leia about the current track. If this fails this could be because of:Also I have recently updated the Leia software but I have noticed that the playlist fails to update and therefore you do not see which track is currently playing with the highlighted track being the first that was played.
- Poor WLAN access point or switch. AFAIK especially the cheaper Netgear ones are making trouble with specific firmware versions.
- Old Cara firmware inside the DS. The timeout for eventing was too short in older Cara versions.
I will implement additional (and optional) polling of the current track to come around the above problems (at the cost of having less battery time on your Nokia), hopefully this will be implemented in the upcoming version 0.6 of Leia.
Thanks Alex
Twonky is embedded on a Freecom NAS. No Idea what version it is but hasn't been updated since NAS purchase in 2008. I can see folder.jpg files on the drive but they are not all displayed. I noted that the Leia has a picture folder picked up from the NAS, this shows you the files but will not display them if clicked.

Twonky will tell you if you go to the Twonky configuration page. I think for album art you need at least version 4.4.6 (but am unsure about this), but this was quite buggy these times. Better use something like 4.4.17 or newer, if possible.pjs6557 wrote:No Idea what version it is but hasn't been updated since NAS purchase in 2008.
They must be named Folder.jpg, with an uppercase "F" and lowercase "older.jpg". Otherwise it is not working. Twonky is very sensitive to that.I can see folder.jpg files on the drive
No, it does not work this way. When playing albums Leia will get the album art from the server and display it in its "Now Playing" page.I noted that the Leia has a picture folder picked up from the NAS, this shows you the files but will not display them if clicked.
