Linn is a luxury brand..., so it makes sense.

With all that technology, might it get close to a TM3?

The link seems not to work, at least not w/o PB account.

Power amp in 360 has utopik,
Power amp in selekt has utopik
Neither stand alone granted.

I've heard them with NGKDSM, ATC speakers and two stacks of Rel subs, all with filtered power blocks. I wouldn't swap that system for what I've got... I've previously felt NGKDSM to be hifi analytical rather than musically engaging, so I suspect the source, and maybe the power blocks were the main reason I didn't rate that system more highly. I would need to put the 800s in my system and compare with TM3s to make a proper judgment. That's very unlikely to happen!!

I will be visiting High End Munich in May. Linn is exhibitor and they will certainly demo them.

I had an interesting listen this morning. The Linn Selekt Edition, as an all-in-one amplifier into ATC SCM11s, with Klimax LP12 as source. Contrary to my recent impressions of Linn electronics, this was extremely good. I did not hear the streamer section.

I enjoyed active 360s the other week, especially via the Klimax LP12. They do a good job of disappearing.

Doubt I'll get to hear the Solo 800s as my dealer is not getting a dem pair.
