212/Akudorik Stands

What's the general consensus on cat litter in Akudorik stands?

Mine had a bad in each stand, sat at the bottom. I assume they don't come from the factory that way.

I filled the plastic bags provided with the stands with dry "cat litter sand" when I first installed my 212's, and I have never looked back. However, I would stongly recommend replacing the spikes with Gaia feet.

Pretty much did the same with mine. The Gaia III’s made a huge difference and are the best option on suspended floors.
