Yesterday I installed the new aluminium stands for the Majik 140.
The stands come with a set of four washers to put between the stand and the base of speakers. I'ave done that. But I began to suspect that perhaps it is better not to put them.
Since the surface of both stands and speakers is very flat perhaps without washers there is a better contact between the surfaces...
Before reassembling everything I'd like to know if someone tried to mount the stands without these washers and if this contribute to a better tune.
Thanks in advance.

Sorry, I haven't installed any of these. Actually not even heard them.
But my guess is that those washers are needed. Probably the size of the washer and the torque with which you tighten the bolts are factors that will influence the performance.

Thank you for the answer anyway Fredrik.
I think will get a try without the washers and then report the results. Maybe can could come out some interesting results!

If you look at the old kustone stands, they had an elevated area around the holes. My guess is that this focusing of the contact area is preferable.
Yes, you are right on the kustone stands, there is a relief around each holes. Similar effects is created by the washer on the 140 stands...
Mmm... Maybe Linn engineers have some reason for this, so lesser is the contact area better are the results, a function somehow similar to that of the spikes.
