You're welcome Arjen, and I'm certainly learning more about Lenco turntables now as well. It's always good getting a turntable to sound better, especially for reasonable amounts of money...enjoy!

The ones who might give platter damping a chance, like I did myself with bitumen, Soundeck (North Shield, Newcastle) has got a kit with their alupolymer damping for sale. Paul Rigby, The audiohile man, wrote a review. Interesting tweak anyways,

Just back from Scotland and England. Collected next to the IJmuiden Ferry in North Shield another Soundeck, their Damping Puck, thin damping layer of visco elastic polymer sandwiched in double Stainless Steel, 575 gram. Works very well on the Idler wheeled Lenco and Soundeck plattermat. Feel like drawing me closer into the recording studio.
