Stylum max speaker stands
I’ve been spending some time looking for a speaker stand that wold fit the size of the JBL708P better than the Kan and Katan strands most people here seem to use with the JBLs.
This is the best I’ve come up with so far: https://en.norstone-design.com/product-page/stylum-max
Looks to me that they could be reasonably good? Any thoughts or comments would be highly appreciated.

I'm a little leery of the whole "anti-vibration" stuff but I have no experience with them. I'm still wondering why someone doesn't try Majik 109 stands with either the 308s or 708s. They are only $300 in the US and are a quite good stand. I only wish I'd thought of it when I still had the 308s in the house.Azazello wrote: ↑2021-10-31 18:56 I’ve been spending some time looking for a speaker stand that wold fit the size of the JBL708P better than the Kan and Katan strands most people here seem to use with the JBLs.

I’m considering them, but they are quite bit narrower, and I’m a bit worried about stability.ThomasOK wrote: ↑2021-11-03 19:04I'm a little leery of the whole "anti-vibration" stuff but I have no experience with them. I spoke to Graham Audio. All of the photographs of their speakers on the website are Graham Audio stands - if you email them they'll send you details of their stands. Adding them to their website would be easier.
Everything is a remix: Copy, Transform, Combine.

Monoprice has a .com and a .co.uk website. I saw them mentioned in the comments section of a Guttenberg review of Genelec G speakers.

No idea what these sound like but they're getting good reviews, have good build quality, are available at different heights and are well priced.

Re: Stylum max speaker stands
Turns out the 26 cm width of the stands is too big. The 308 are 308 mm, but that´s including the plastic front ...

Neat job!
Machine shops are useful! My father headed up one prior to being quality control manager.

Yes! Found one really close to where I live, and they only wanted € 50 for the job, so next time I need stands I’ll probably ask them to build them from scratch.FairPlayMotty wrote: ↑2021-12-04 01:04 Neat job!

I have an audio job for one close to me. They're worth the money. Many of my dad's staff started their own shops when GM closed - I can probably get jobs done at a discount. The precision measurement tools available to all of us these days allow an accurate spec for the task (my laser measure gets used for many audio tasks). Most of these shops run CNC machines. The tolerances are brilliant.
